Founded by Fernando Lopes in 2003, World of Music first opened its doors in Polokwane, Limpopo where it grew to be the largest dedicated musical instrument store in Limpopo. In 2024, World of Music, under new management relocated to Centurion Gauteng where it is owned and operated by Marsell and Ancre Vermeulen, together with the very knowledgeable and skilled Manager Tristan Pettigrew who has been at the forefront of the daily operations of the business for over 20 years. Over the past few years World of Music has evolved into a leading retailer for musical instruments and other music related equipment.
